Thursday Feb. 28th Packet handed out to students
Monday March 3rd Readathon starts!!! Let the reading begin. Similar to the Walkathon, students will gather pledges based on minutes read (instead of laps walked). Sponsors can donate a flat fee or per minute read. Students will track minutes read on a modified Orca Reading calendar. 90 minutes per day of at home reading is the maximum that can be counted towards the Readathon.
Friday March 7th Family Reading and Activity Night. Doors open at 6:30pm. Event runs from 7pm until 8:30pm. There will be a free raffle for a Sylvan Assessment and 8 hours of tutoring and 2 day passes to Disneyland or California Adventure!! We will be accepting new and gently used books to donate directly to ACAP in Auburn.
Saturday March 15th Last day to read for the Readathon
Friday March 21st Pledges and sponsor sheets due back at school
Friday March 28th Final pledge collection date! Any money turned in past this date
WILL NOT count toward prizes. Prizes will be distributed approximately the third week of May.
